The “Your Giving is Great Medicine” Capital Campaign seeks to build on the $1 million gift GHFA received from the GAFP to raise an additional $3 million to fulfill its mission to enhance the well-being of Georgians through outreach programs that promote healthy practices. Another goal of the campaign is to further the organizational capacity of the Alliance in order to increase the number of community health grants and Tar Wars presentations statewide. To date, the Alliance has raised more than $2 million toward our Capital Campaign goal.
Funds raised during the five-year capital campaign will allow GHFA to increase and expand the nationally recognized Community Health Grant program which has awarded more than $ 565,000 in grants to 100+ GAFP members and their teams to support community health projects in all corners of Georgia since 2012. Grant awards are made to GAFP member affiliated charitable organizations that support GHFA program priorities including underserved populations.
With your donation you will join a select group of charitable and community involved people who have made personal pledges to help the Georgia Healthy Family Alliance, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, improve the health of Georgia families through funding for educational and outreach programs like the nationally recognized Community Health Grant Program and Tar Wars.
